I can’t really do this album, or Wrest’s talent and influence, due justice. I can say that this album is a late discovery for me, and some of my favorite current metal projects are logical extensions of what Wrest has already done. This album is high art; the most painfully beautiful thing you’re likely to hear.

This is one of the best metal albums I’ve heard. There’s so much here that you can get lost, which isn’t a bad thing. The drum performance is varied and brilliant, standing out just a bit ahead of other elements. Not by much though. A fantastically strong vocal performance also.
