Metallurgical Fire Atmospheric doom done well. I’m very picky about clean vocals, so the best thing I can say is that they are not overly distracting here. The music is really good. Favorite track: Silence and the Setting Sun.

H.L. This is a nice melancholic journey for grey autumn and winter days. But to be honest I miss the old funeral doom days and especially the growling as the dark mood has been far more intense and dynamic in classics like "Shadows over the Cosmos". The somehow passionless, bored and unvaried vocals of today do not really touch me. Fortunately the naked songs themselves are still over average and very atmospheric.

Dave Aftandilian Listening to this album reminds me of how I feel as I grow older: as if I’m losing something precious, but don’t know quite what it is. More a sort of nameless melancholy and longing. There is rage here, too, rage against the dying of the light; but also a sense of resignation, of having made peace with a constant sense of quiet desperation. Yet as the light slowly fades, the slanting rays set ablaze a fragile, romantic beauty glowing amidst the ruins.
