Matthew Fishgold Man, I've been listening to this on loop all day. I'm so glad I came across it. There's such manic desperation in the extraterrestrial sounds throughout the album, and they invoke a true otherworldly vibe for the genre. Let this pull you into its outer limits of spoken fiction and strange melodies of atmospheric black metal. You won't regret it.

Metallurgical Fire I might end up liking the approach of this band more than similar artists like Mesarthim. They are generally a bit heavier, taking an industrial approach to space black metal, and perhaps more musically eclectic as well. I’m still not on board with everything, but this is a very intriguing and complex release. Favorite track: Toward a Distant Moon.

PSA: if there was an album you heard a couple years ago and thought it was ok, listen to it again and you might love it. That's what happened to me with this album. I cannot fathom why it didn't stick with me back then. Same thing happened with Decoherence's Unitarity for that matter. Matten
