Bobor Very original black metal, excellent compositions, great musicianship. Track 4 is a masterpiece. Favorite track: I sang of murder.

Obstacle of Affliction At my age, I feel that I'm not wrong in saying that I understand a word. That word is, weird. Weird is not derogatory or negative. In fact, weird is beautiful, mysterious, and captivating.
This is what I think of most when listening to this and resisting the urge to listen to something more 'accessible'.
Given a chance, I dare say you will not have a regret.

H.L. Escumergamënt play 90s influenced melodic black metal which spreads a timeless black beauty. The songs are full of atmosphere but keep a rough edge as well. Most intensive are the creeping tracks, like the hypnotic "Black Ash and Ruin", but also my favourite, the more lively "I sang of Murder" is a role model for soulful melodic black metal. Great and sometimes even hypnotic! Favorite track: I sang of murder.

Jono Schneider Super evil and possessed sounding. Mix is an awesome mess: the guitars like needles pricking your skin, freaky late night devil organ turning all that is holy into evil, the drumming loose and full of oceanic wildness. Heavy.

PSA: if there was an album you heard a couple years ago and thought it was ok, listen to it again and you might love it. That's what happened to me with this album. I cannot fathom why it didn't stick with me back then. Same thing happened with Decoherence's Unitarity for that matter. Matten
