I'd say Havukruunu is the inheritor of Quorthon and Bathory. Male choirs, vikingesque themes and tales of Finnish paganism from the happier times before our ancestors were made to convert or die by sword of blooded cross. Les deux explorateurs de Mesarthim ouvrent la voie et étendent notre horizon à chacun de leurs albums et .--... ... . -. -.-. . pousse encore plus loin cette contemplation de l'univers. Si le synthé est toujours aussi prépondérant (marque de fabrique du groupe), il sert à créer désormais une ambiance assez sombre, voire funéraire (l'orgue superbe à la fin de "...--") sur le premier tiers de l'album puis plus aérienne et galactique sur les deux tiers restants.
