Official reissue of Nortt's iconic 1999 album
Now again breathing new feral life in digipak CD and LP
released June 5, 2020
Recorded in the darkest hours of October and November 1999.
Originally self-released as a demo tape in 1999 (250 copies), partially re-released in 2002 on a very limited 10" Picture-Disc (minus tracks 3+4, 100 copies), re-released in 2004 by Total Holocaust Records and re-released on vinyl (limited 300 copies) on Cryptia Productions in 2005. Re-issued with slightly altered cover art by Red Stream Inc
It's tremendously difficult to breathe in the thick and gloomy atmosphere NONE creates in this release. It's adorned with riffs so delicious, yet so devastating. The tracks are repetitive, yet never once do they get mundane. Definitely worth the listen if you are into slower-paced DSBM, this is truly a masterpiece. ethan_t
What can you say more after reading the abhorrent bio of this album? This is the black vomit of Tchornobog: abyssal violation of senses and pineal gland and you are not the same person after encountering this multidimensional god. 𝙅𝙤𝙚 𝙎𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙡𝙡
I've come back to this album to give it it's well-deserved due.
The interpositions are coherent and cold, it's all put together really nicely which adds to the effectiveness of it's depressing atmosphere, and to it's faculty-decimating power.
Throughout the album it often reminds me of the great Bathory, which is always a good thing.
What will you see? Daniel Brown
