But for me, this album (and I wasn't primed by the cover) is really the embodiment of cosmic, immense.

The universe is violent, yet created harmony. Same for this album.

Selvans was formed following the demise of Draugr, and, through music, lyrics and aesthetics, the band aims to recreate the mysticism and the folklore that the different ethnic inhabitants of Italy throughout the ages left behind them.
Ancestral Italic melodies meld with atmospheric, sinister and evocative metal tunes to create a hymn to that ancient spirituality.

The lineup on “Clangores Plenilunio” EP includes Selvans Haruspex on vocals, keyboards and traditional instruments , Sethlans Fulguriator on guitar, and Draugr co-founders Stolas on bass and Jonny on drums, , who was tragically killed in a motor bike accident in June of last year.

This EP marks the last ever appearance of Jonny, who recorded all of the drum tracks and most of the vocals before his death, and in whose honour the EP is being released.

PSA: if there was an album you heard a couple years ago and thought it was ok, listen to it again and you might love it. That's what happened to me with this album. I cannot fathom why it didn't stick with me back then. Same thing happened with Decoherence's Unitarity for that matter. Matten
